Welcome to The Art Therapy Room

The Art Therapy Room is based at Seale Hayne in the middle of the countryside with views of the Teign Valley and close to Dartmoor. The room is warm and cosy with lots of natural light. The initial sessions of art therapy are a journey of discovery; exploring, experimenting, finding your way and what works for you in a non judgemental space. There will be a range of art materials available and you do not need to have any previous experience in making art or using the materials.  Art therapy is a psychodynamic therapy where a triangular relationship forms between the client, the art and the therapist. This means that everybody will use the space differently in a way that is unique to them.
